Browser versions

We recommend you use the very latest version of your favourite browser to avoid possible security issues. These are:

  • Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0
  • Firefox 2.0.0.7
  • Safari 2.0.3 (1.0.3, 1.3.2 on older OSX versions)
  • Opera 9.23
  • AOL Netscape 8.1.3
But any reasonably new (post 2001) browser should display our site perfectly and users with older browsers should be able to see the content but the display may not be ideal. Find latest browsers (BrowserNews)

Browser versions

You should use the very latest version of your favourite browser to avoid possible security issues. But some of our internal web sites need specific browser versions You can avoid most issues by using either:

  • Internet Explorer 6.0
    Do not use 7.0 (Why?)
  • Firefox 1.0 and above (preferably 2.0.0.7)

Other browsers may work with some applications but not with others.
