Teaching and Copyright
Materials can be copied for teaching purposes under the University's AV, Music and Copyright Agency Ltd licences. In accordance with University policy, scanned materials for teaching must be saved to "Reserve Online".
For personal study and research, lecturers can copy under the "Fair Dealing" provisions of the Copyright Act 1968. Lecturers may also utilise the Creative Commons licences as either a creator or user.
Students can only copy under the "Fair Dealing" provisions of the Act or using Creative Commons licences and are not covered by the University licences.
