    • Australian Science and Mathematics School
      The Australian Science and Mathematics School, a specialist government school opened in 2003 with 180 students at years 10 and 11. Learning is often located in Flinders University, with the School sited on the campus, and in the workplace alongside university teachers and researchers, industry scientists and technologists. The vision of the school is to be recognised world-wide as leading a renaissance in the teaching and learning of science and mathematics.

      FREE makes it easy to find K - 12 learning resources from more than 35 U.S. federal organisations. Resources include teaching ideas, learning activities, photos, maps, primary documents, data, paintings, sound recordings, and more on thousands of topics.
    • Queensland Association for Gifted and Talented Children Regional Conference 2004: Smart Schools, Clever Kids, Brilliant Futures

    • SmartPlay
      Smartplay is a South Australian initiative to educate children playing sport to "warm up, gear up and drink up". Includes information on stetching exercises, nutrition, sports injuries and more.

    • Australian Children's Music Foundation
      Founded by Don Spencer, the ACMF was launched in July 2003. Its mission is to use "the power of music to inspire and empower Australian children". The current website is the first stage in a two-part development of an interactive, educational tool for primary children as well as a teaching tool for teachers and parents.
      The second stage will include a "fully operational, comprehensive, efficient, user-friendly online library of Australian children's music".

    • ASCD Lexicon of Learning
      Clear definitions of educational terms in everyday language

    • ASCD: Education Topics
      Education topics are short multimedia lessons on topics that interest all levels of educators. Each lesson includes a definition, short articles on the topic, audio and video files of experts and practitioners, and a listing of resources that you can use to continue your professional development.

    • Science/Health Education: New Nova topic on global warming
      Continued warming of the planet could have significant implications for human health. Coping with extreme heatwaves will be just one of our concerns.

    • ReefED
      ReefED is a multimedia education program prepared by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority for educators and students. It contains action-based school participation programmes related to current issues affecting the Great Barrier Reef; high quality curriculum-based reef education resource materials for educators; multimedia based reef education opportunities for educators and students; Facility-based reef education programmes and services for schools; Media centre; Student interactives; and an Image gallery.
