    The ICT and School Education Research Website is a prototype for an online collection of Australian research on ICT and school education. The scope of the content is research into ICT and teaching and learning and research into ICT and change management in schools.

    Shared elearning is a website directory developed by Curriculum Corporation that supports teachers' web use in the classroom.
    Links are reviewed and updated regularly.
    Teaching Tools offers tips and ideas to confidently use the web.
    Learning Area Resources covers primary and secondary subject content.

      Subscribe to Early Childhood Australia's free fortnightly e-newsletter with links to high-quality, current and useful information on other websites across the world.
    • The following websites have been rated A+ by Education World, a free site which is a valuable on-line resource for teaching. The Internet's largest education-specific search engine, it is designed to help in lesson planning and classroom projects as well as providing resources for continuing education and professional development.
      • Invention at Play
        A Smithsonian site focused on the link between kids' play and science.
      • Kids Design Network (KDN)
        DuPage Children's Museum (IL) site where kids play engineer (designer, not choo-choo).
      • FEMA For Kids
        The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency maintains this site to teach kids about natural disasters and disaster relief resources. Here, students can download coloring pages, play interactive games online, or read stories. The site includes a list of online safety rules for kids, as well as lesson plans, guidebooks, mailing lists, and related links for teachers and parents.
      • SafeKids.Com
        SafeKids.com is one-stop resource for everything parents and teachers need to know about keeping kids safe online. The site includes articles on child safety, reviews of filtering software and filtered ISPs, online rules for children, and guidelines for adults.
    • Education Virtual Library
      Part of the WWW Virtual Library, this site maintained at Charles Sturt University is a comprehensive index of educational resources on the Web.
