When you want to find information on a topic but don't have an exact reference, you need to use an online journal database.

Finding Journal Articles - when you know the title of the Journal
- Tropicat
If you know the title of the journal, (N.B. not the article title), you can look it up on Tropicat.
Print journal entries include subject headings,
e.g. Mathematics -- Study and teaching -- Periodicals
Electronic journals do not always provide subject headings.
- Interpreting References written in APA style. Shows the pattern for different types of references, e.g. a book; a chapter in a book; a print journal article.
