Being Queensland Health's alcohol and other drug education campaign for 12 to 17 year olds, the site targets young people as a means of positively influencing life long attitudes and behaviour associated with alcohol and other drug use which in turn will impact on their present and future health.
The campaign aims to delay or prevent the initiation or uptake of alcohol and other drug use and to minimise the associated harms to young people in the campaign target roup.Safety tips, 'non-alcohol party ideas, advice on how to quit smoking and other information for young people are provided on the site.
- Australian Sports Drug Agency
The Agency works in partnership with sports organisations at the state, national and international level to develop a comprehensive response to drugs in sport issues. Topics covered on the site include the history of drug use in sport, performance enhancement, drug testing, prohibited substances and the Olympic Movement anti-doping code. The site provides access to publications, media releases, briefings, and links to other related information.
- Centre for Education and Information on Drugs and Alcohol (CEIDA)
The Centre, based in Sydney NSW, and funded by the NSW Health Department, works to increase the number of effective strategies to reduce drug-related harm. Resources available from the site include fact sheets on caffeine, tobacco, amphetamines, and other substances, information for parents, a searchable collection of books, reports, conference papers, and other materials, as well as online articles and directory of resources.
- Centre for Youth Drug Studies(CYDS)
CYDS is the research arm of the Australian Drug Foundation. It provides a permanent base for the development of drug education programs, models and resources, for the growth of expertise and the consolidation of experience. It includes research models and resources for drug prevention and education in various settings, including schools.

The site contains information, data, documents, policies, procedures, guidelines, images and general health material prepared by Life Education Australia and funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care.
The resources and activities on the site are designed for students, teachers, parents and the community at large. There are fact sheets about different drugs, activities for different age groups, primary and secondary resources and worksheets as well as parent guides.
- National Alcohol Campaign
Produced by Population Health Division, Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, the site contains information for parents, the media, service providers, stakeholders, and students. Provided are various resources for the Campaign including publications, downloadable TV commercials and links to other relevant websites. The site also contains information for parents in 16 languages.
- National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA)
A collaborative venture between Flinders University and the Drug and Alcohol Services Council and jointly funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, under the National Drug Strategy. The site provides information about current research, and contains a bibliography of relevant publications, and a collection of links.

The Institute, based at Curtin University of Technology, WA, conducts and disseminates research that contributes to the prevention of harmful drug use and the reduction of drug related harm. The site contains information about research presently in progress, and research findings published in referenced journals, technical reports and monographs. Related conferences and links are also included.

An online drug encyclopaedia from DrugScope, a UK centre of expertise on drugs. Entries on both legal and illegal drugs are organised alphabetically and contain information on each drug. The site is fully searchable.

From BBC Education, this sites looks at themes such as family and friends, smoking, alcohol and volatile substances and illegal drugs. There are activities, quizzes and discussion opportunities for children of all ages.
- STAT - Stop Teenage Addiction to Tobacco
Stop Teenage Addiction to Tobacco is a site that has printable fact sheets about the effects of tobacco on health, information about advertisements depicting smoking, a guide to ceasing smoking and hints about ways to prevent smoking.
