Getting Connected @ JCU is a hands-on self paced tutorial compiled by InfoHelp, it should take approximately one hour to complete.
It has been designed for use in the General Access & Teaching Facilites (GATCF) on a PC.

Getting Connected @ JCU covers:

  • logging in to the GATCF PCs (please see Accessing the GATCF for more detailed instructions)
  • Using Firefox or Internet Explorer to access your email using JCU Webmail (see Webmail How To Guide for more features)
  • Reading and sending mail
  • Dealing with attachments
  • Accessing useful web pages (time permitting - see InfoHelp's WWW Guide for more details)
  • Printing in the GATCF
  • logging out of a GATCF PC
