Troubleshooting

I get a message asking me to Verify Certificate when I try to connect to Walkabout. Should I be worried?

Don't be worried. It doesn't mean anything bad is about to happen to your computer or your personal details. Click Continue to proceed with connection. There is a system out on the internet which allows companies to pay for "signed" certificates, essentially verifiying that they are indeed the company / service they claim to be. JCU does not currently subscribe to any of these paid certificates so you may encounter messages like this when accessing some of JCU's online services.

I can't see TTLS - PAP as an option under the 802.1X settings?

If you don't have TTLS - PAP as a choice for 802.1X then just choose the Automatic setting and click the Add button and continue configuring the AirPort card as per the instructions above. The operating system will be able to assign the correct Encryption and you should still be able to connect to the walkabout network.
