Installing JCU Certificate Authority Key for Remote Access


Vista | XP Internet Explorer 6 & 7 | Firefox

If you recieve either of the following error messages when trying to connect via remote access you need to install an updated JCU Certificate Authority Key. Follow the instructions below for your specific operating system and browser.

Instructions

While secure access is provided to Elibrary, you will need a "certificate". The JCU Certificate Authority key will authenticate any web site which has been certified by it, including Elibrary. To install the key on your browser go to http://www.jcu.edu.au/cacert.crt and follow the prompts.
