JCU Theses - Loans and Sales
James Cook University PhD and Masters by Research theses are deposited in the Library. Since 2005, theses are deposited and may be freely available online from the Library. Prior to this date, some theses may be available in microform.
Masters by Course Work and Honours theses are deposited in the Library at the discretion of Heads of Schools. Microform copies of these theses are not available.
Theses Loans
- The Library lends theses only to other libraries and only in microform.
- Requests for loans of microform copies of theses are made to Document Supply Service as an interlibrary loan request. Contact doc.sup@jcu.edu.au or phone (07) 4781 4162. The current interlibrary loan fee plus GST applies.
Theses Sales
- The Library may sell print copies of theses. Payment is required before delivery.
- Other libraries may purchase microfiche or, if available, pdf copies of theses from the Document Supply Service for $71.50 (GST incl).
- Individuals may also purchase print copies as per section 51(2) of the Copyright Act 1968. Please contact Copying Services for a quote.
- To purchase the thesis and accept the quote, please print the Thesis Request Form and complete the details.
