Atkinson Family Papers
The Atkinson family were among the early pioneers of north Queensland and, like so many other early pastoralists, made the long overland trek from Victoria where they had first settled. Many of the early difficulties they encountered are recorded in the manuscript The Long Trail which forms part of this collection.
