Maisie Walker Collection
This collection of theatre programmes was the property of Miss Maisie Walker until her death in June 1985. Born in Townsville in 1911, Miss Walker was an ardent theatre goer and supporter of local theatre. She was treasurer of the Choral and Orchestral Society of Townsville for 25 years and a life member of the Townsville Juvenile Eisteddford. This collection covers the period 1944 -1985 and includes southern and overseas productions as well as local theatre.
