- lists all print, electronic and audio-visual resources held
- shows where a resource is located, its call number, and if it is available for loan
- allows you to place holds on borrowable items.

Off Campus access to electronic journals, databases, indexes and abstracts via Tropicat
Use the remote access links if you
- are a student or staff member of James Cook University AND
- want to use Tropicat's links to online publications when you are off campus OR
- are on campus and need a password to use the online resource.
A JCU username (login ID) and password is required for remote access
- You need only login for remote access once per session.
- The full content of JCU online subscriptions is not available to the general public.
- The licences governing use of these resources require that users read and observe the terms and conditions of use as published on the web sites of the publications concerned.
