  Capturing electronic information

There are many different options for saving your search results. Some of the more common include:

  • printing
  • copying and pasting
  • saving to disk
  • forwarding to an email account
  • downloading bibliographic references into EndNote

The procedures vary greatly depending on which database you are using and how you are accessing it. Most databases explain this in their help files. If you can’t find it, ask InfoHelp.

Note: Information stored electronically is subject to change. Therefore you should maintain a copy of any important information which you find in an electronic database or on the web and which you are likely to refer to in future in assignments etc.
