X Search Hints, Help and Guides

Hints for first time users

1. Login with your JCU username and password.
2. Choose the subject Quickset that most matches your topic
3. Enter a search and click the 'Go' button
4. Wait until the results are retrieved from all the databases and combine.
5. Further refine your search (if you want) by clicking on the appropriate cluster or facet on the right
6. Click on Find It to view the item or find out if it's in the library

• Citation Linker - if have a citation for an article enter the details and X Search will tell you if JCU can provide it.
