AUSTLIT indexes creative and critical works by and about Australian writers. Coverage is comprehensive from 1988 onwards. Some earlier citations are also included. AUSTLIT includes citations for original creative literature, critical material on Australian literature, biographical material, reviews, awards and translations of creative Australian literature originally written in a language other than English.

A complete literature reference database built on the Gale Group's three hallmark author databases: Contemporary Authors Online, Contemporary Literary Criticism Select and Dictionary of Literary Biography Online.To this have been added full-text, excerpted, and commissioned critical material from titles such as Children's Literature Review, Classical and Medieval Literature Criticism, Shakespeare for Students and Twentieth Century Literary Criticism plus full-text critical essays on major authors via links to selected literary journals. This database is combined in one overall interface with the Modern Language Association International Bibliography. Access is via InfoTrac.

- MLA International Bibliography of Books and Articles on the Modern Languages and Literatures
Produced by the Modern Language Association of America, this is a comprehensive database indexing materials on language, literature, linguistics and folklore from over 3,000 journals and series as well as relevant monographs, working papers and conference proceedings. The coverage is from 1963 to the present, the scope is international in both the sources indexed and the languages and literatures covered. This database is combined in one overall interface with Gale's Literature Resource Center. Access is via InfoTrac.
