• Australian Literature Database - A collection of 18th, 19th and early 20th century texts (full-text).
• Australian Studies Network - Links to organisations, associations and centres for worldwide Australian studies.
• Australian War Memorial - Gateway to Australia's war records, military artefacts, documents and media collection.
• Australia's Oral History Collections - Provides access to a searchable electronic database of Australian oral history. These collections document Australian life, customs, politics and traditions.

• WhoWhatWhen : Interactive Historical Timelines - A database of people and events from 1000 AD to the present.
• World History Chronology - A series of hyperlinked chronologies.

Archives

• Directory of Archives in Australia - An index to the location and description of Australian archival collections.
• Historical Text Archive - Provides links to history resources categorised by geography, nations and topics.
• National Archives of Australia - A rich resource for the study of Australian history, society and people.
• Register of Australian Archives and Manuscripts - A guide to manuscript collections relating to Australia, and access to the online register of Australian Archives and Manuscripts (RAAM).
• Repositories of Primary Sources - A listing of over 4,200 websites describing holdings of manuscripts, archives, rare books, historical photographs and other primary sources.

Electronic Journals

• Australian Humanities Review - A peered reviewed interdisciplinary electronic journal.
• Journal of the Australian War Memorial - Full-text articles. This journal is only published in electronic format.
• Placenames Australia - Australian National Placenames Survey Newsletter and contains articles and short pieces about the cultural aspects of placenames and placename research in Australia.
• The Electronic Journal of Australian and New Zealand History - A peer-reviewed journal and initiative of James Cook University.

Databases

• APAIS (Informit Online) - Australian Public Affairs Information Service indexes current journals and newspapers in Australia and overseas for material on Australia's political, economic, legal, social and cultural affairs.
• AHB (Informit Online) - Australian Heritage Information, provides access to information on Australia's natural and cultural environment.
• AHRR (Informit Online) - A list of paper-based records held in private collections within Australia.
• Auschron (Informit Online) - A chronology of events in Australian history.
• Expanded Academic (InfoTrac) - Indexes periodical articles from a broad range of subject areas and includes the full-text for many articles.
• JSTOR - A comprehensive archive of important scholarly journals in the Arts and Sciences including history.
• MHLIST (Informit Online) - The Australasian Military History database, indexes material on the pre-1980 military history of Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
• Oxford Journals Online - Tables of contents, abstracts and the full text articles for most of the journals published by the Oxford University Press. Coverage of about 150 titles in all areas of science, the arts and humanities, will gradually increase as more OUP titles are published online.
• Project Muse - Access 40+ scholarly titles in the humanities, social sciences and mathematics (full-text).
