    Informit databases include Australian Public Affairs - Full Text (APA-FT), which indexes Australian material in the social sciences and humanities, and Media Scan which indexes a range of Australian newspapers including Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian, The Herald Sun, The Bulletin, The Courier Mail, Sunday Mail, Adelaide Advertiser, West Australian.

  • Infoquick : an index to the Sydney Morning Herald
    Index to articles published in The Sydney Morning Herald and ass$ publications: Sun Herald, Eastern Herald, Northern Herald and from 1988 onwards. Maintained by the State Library of New So$ Wales. Search by key word, byline, or subject.
  • Infotrac
    A general academic database covering a wide range of journals in the humanities, social sciences, science and technology. Many articles available in full text.
  • ProQuest
    Indexes a wide range of journals in the social sciences, humanities, science and technology and includes the full text of many articles.
  • Australia & New Zealand Reference Centre
    Full-text access to Australasian newspapers and magazines, and some reference works. Australian newspapers include The Australian, The Adelaide Advertiser, The Courier Mail, Northern Territory News, The Mercury, the Herald Sun, The Weekly Times and the 7.30 Report transcripts. Access open to all current members of Queensland public libraries through a consortium arrangement with the State Library of Queensland. Access is by using your Queensland public library membership number or your State Library eServices card number.

    Provides access to fulltext newspaper articles from more than 230 Queensland, Australian and international titles. Includes Townsville Bulletin, Cairns Post and other regional Queensland papers.
