Database ResourcesMany journal indexing and abstracting services are available via the Internet. Some services also provide the full text of journal articles. The ERIC database corresponds to two printed journals: Resources in Education (RIE) and Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE) . Infotrac - indexes more than 2,000 journals with full-text articles from over half available online. Contains the Health Reference Centre databases with many full text articles. Informit - indexes published and unpublished Australian articles contains data from 12 Australian databases: including those in these health related databases: APAIS: Health - covers legal, social, economic and ethical (but not clinical) aspects of Australian health and medicine AUSPORT – Australian Sport Database Health & Society - covers health policy, services, social, ethical, psychological, and legal issues connected with health. Medline - the premier database for every aspect of health via the PubMed service PsycINFO - indexes and abstracts the psychological literature ProQuest 5000 - another indexing and full-text database complementing InfoTrac PSYCArticles - Applied psychology, developmental psychology, personality SPORTDiscus [ Please logout as there is a limit on the number of simultaneous users. ] Electronic JournalsMost full text electronic journals subscribed to by the Library are listed in Tropicat.
